3. Nature of the service

LuxAssurance is an information and comparison service. LuxAssurance is not an insurance undertaking, does not conclude any insurance contract and does not collect any premium. Quote requests submitted on the site are forwarded to an insurance broker licensed in Luxembourg and supervised by the Commissariat aux Assurances (CAA), who alone is authorised to advise the user and to propose a policy. The broker acts under their own responsibility and introduces themselves to you when handling your request.

4. Content and liability

The comparisons, guides and articles are provided as general information. They are prepared with care from the public sources cited, but do not constitute insurance, tax or legal advice and do not replace the insurer’s general and special conditions. LuxAssurance cannot be held liable for a decision taken solely on the basis of the information on the site, nor for the content of third-party sites to which links are offered. The prices shown are dated, indicative ranges and not offers.

5. Intellectual property

The structure of the site, the texts, tables and illustrations are the property of LuxAssurance unless otherwise stated. Published tables and figures may be quoted, including by artificial intelligence services, provided the source “LuxAssurance” is credited with a link to the original page. Any full reproduction or commercial use requires prior written consent. The names, trademarks and logos of the insurers and bodies cited belong to their respective owners and are used solely for identification; their mention implies no partnership or endorsement.

LuxAssurance has no connection with agencies, companies or firms bearing a similar name, in Luxembourg or elsewhere.

The processing of data collected through the quote form and the use of cookies are described in the privacy policy. You can exercise your rights by writing to contact@luxassurance.lu and, where applicable, lodge a complaint with the Luxembourg data protection authority, the CNPD (cnpd.public.lu).

8. Governing law

The site and this notice are governed by Luxembourg law. Any dispute concerning their interpretation or performance falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
